Spring is here, which means allergy season is upon us. We have an influx of patients coming in due to allergy eyes. The common symptoms of allergy eyes are redness, itchiness, burning, swollen lids, watery eyes, and feeling like dirt is in your eyes. When you are suffering from allergy eyes, your first response may be to rub your eyes. Rubbing your eyes will cause symptoms to worsen and can cause more discomfort. A cold compress is a great option when suffering from allergy eyes. Always schedule a visit with your eye doctor when allergy eyes are persistent. Also, always consult with your eye doctor before using over-the-counter medications. If you are suffering from allergy eyes, please schedule an appointment today.
